CBD Companies has commenced work on another exciting project in One Park Place

CBD commenced work on another exciting project in the One Park Place Building in downtown Syracuse. This 37,000 square foot multi floored build-out is for local insurance company, Haylor, Freyer & Coon, Inc. CBD Companies is partnering with the building owners, Dalpos Architects and King & King to completely renovate the new tenant space. This project will feature work stations and desks that can be raised electronically to stand-up height, lots of natural light, an employee cafeteria and lounge, training areas, conference rooms and informal “team-building” areas. Other interesting features include an energy efficient lighting package with daylight harvesting, switchglass panels that transform from transparent to opaque with the flip of a switch. We are very excited to tackle the challenge of building this beautifully designed office space for Haylor, Freyer, & Coon.

129 year-old Syracuse law firm to go bright & modern

CBD Companies is pleased to collaborate on the renewal and relocation of Hancock Estabrook, LLP in AXA Towers, located at 100-120 Madison Street in Downtown Syracuse. Hancock Estabrook will be relocating higher in the Tower to occupy the top three floors in Tower 1, leasing over 37,000 SF. The new suite was designed by King + King Architects incorporating concepts derived from research into trends in the legal sector both nationally and internationally. The space will incorporate interconnecting staircases, including a two-story lobby with views of Downtown and surrounding areas from the 19th floor of the Tower. The design embraces an open concept for administrative staff allowing maximum exposure to natural light and bright finish specifications. Bergmann Associates consulted on the mechanical design of the space. CBD Companies is providing construction management services. AXA Towers, the largest office complex in Onondaga County, is Owned by AmTrust Realty Corp. based in New York City and managed by CBD Companies of Syracuse.

Former HSBC Tower in Downtown Syracuse getting new anchor tenant and name

The Barclay Damon law firm plans to move into the former HSBC Tower and give the 15-story downtown Syracuse office building a new name. The law firm, which until recently was named Hiscock & Barclay, said it will move from One Park Place on South State Street to the former HSBC Tower at the northwest corner of E. Jefferson and South Warren streets next year. With the move, the tower will be renamed Barclay Damon Tower, the law firm and the building’s owners said in a joint announcement.
